DIY Cell Phone Stand for an Env2 Picture Taking

To introduce this blog, here’s a picture of one of my first “tripod” projects, a stand for the now-ancient Env2 “feature phone.”

DIY cell phone stand for an Env2Full details on how this piece of wood was adapted into a mount for taking pictures can be found here.  The original design for this “DIY Cell phone stand” is outlined in this post, which is just a milled slot in a piece of wood.

On DIYTripods, I plan to feature some of my own projects and original content, as well as a plethora of links to other “tripods” and camera mounts that I find interesting.  I’ve really been impressed by the amount of creativity people put into placing their cameras for that unique shot, so I hope to feature the best of this here.

If you have something that you’d like to see featured here, be sure to write me at  I’ll be happy to link up to your site if I use your camera-mounting contraption, or if you want to give me pictures and a description of what you did, that’s certainly an option as well.

So enjoy, subscribe, and/or let me know what you think in the comments!
